Our Forever First Lady & How America hates when a Black woman says no!

Our Forever First Lady, Michelle Obama continues to make headlines and be the topic of conversation more so than our current first lady, Melania Trump. Let me clear about a few things, no Michelle Obama slander is present in this post, and I would advise you to keep any Michelle Obama slander out of the comment section.

Michelle Obama proved to the most memorable first lady in our nation’s history. She was already conventionally successful before America knew her name — a native to the South side of Chicago, a daughter to working class parents, the first in her family to go to college, and she eventually went on to graduate from Princeton University and then Harvard Law School. She was a successful attorney and dedicated her early career to founding the Chicago Branch of Public Allies, a leadership training program for young adults, and pursued a role in higher education administration where she helped organized community outreach efforts at the University of Chicago. Like many Black women, Michelle Obama negotiated the duality of both a public and private life during her husband Barack’s Obama 2008 presidential campaign. She maintained a very active role in his campaign, while also being a mother to their two children, Sasha and Malia.
